Day  1  Mon May 4                Departure

Day  2  Tue May 5                     Arrival / Jaffa / Coastal Plain

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport you will be met by a local representative to help with airport formalities. Meet your local guide and driver and travel to the ancient seaport of Jaffa where Peter stayed with Simon the Tanner (Acts 10 & 11). A short visit of Tel Aviv Port (Joppa) where Jonah boarded a ship to run from the mission God had asked of him (Jonah 1). Enjoy a stroll on the Mediterranean Coast before we meet for orientation and welcome dinner.

Day  3  Wed May 6                   Coastal Plain / Galilee

After breakfast depart drive through the Sharon valley along the “Way of the Sea” to Caesarea. Visit theremains of this important Roman City where the Gentiles were first empowered with the Holy Spirit (Acts 10 & 11). Explore the Roman Theater and the aqueduct built by Herod the Great. Proceed through Jezreel Valley to the Muhraqa where Elijah challenged and defeated the 400 prophets of Baal. Visit Tel Meggido, known as the site of the Last Battle of Armageddon (1 Kings 18). Travel through the Galilee to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood to visit Nazareth Village.

Day  4  Thu May 7                     Upper Galilee / Golan Heights

Travel north to the Upper Galilee and to the Golan Heights and start the day with a visit to the biblical site of Tel DanCaesarea Phillipi and Banias National Park and Falls. Enjoy a view of the Golan Heights from Mt. Bental Bunker. Drive through the Golan Heights to Shalom Vista for a view of the Sea of Galilee.

Day  5  Fri May 8                       Sea of Galilee

Start the day with a visit and baptism service at the Yardenit Baptism site. Enjoy a boat Ride on the Sea of Galilee with music and worship. See the Ginosar Ancient Boat Museum. Visit the sites associated with the Ministry of Jesus including ancient Capernaum where Jesus spent much of his time during his ministry, Tabgha, site of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fish.

Day  6  Sat May 9                      Jordan Valley / Jerusalem

This morning, travel south, along the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean (2 Samuel 21) - the largest excavations of a Roman city in Israel. On the way view Jericho, the oldest and lowest inhabited city in the world, and then continue to Jerusalem via Wadi Kelt on the old Roman road. Stop for a magnificent view of St. George Monastery. Enter Jerusalem as a pilgrimage. Enjoy a view of the Holy City from Mt. Scopus

Day  7  Sun May 10                   Bethlehem / Judean Hills

This morning we visit Bethlehem. Continue to visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial and Museum. Travel via Ein Karem and through the Judean Hills and Emmaus to visit the Valley of Ellah, site of the Battle of David and Goliath.

Day  8  Mon May 11                  Jerusalem

Today visit the City of David and walk through Hezekiah’s Tunnel and the Pool of Siloam (John 9.) Enter the Old City of Jerusalem to visit the Davidson Center and the original Southern Steps that led to the Temple. Make our way to Herodian Quarter in the Jewish Quarter. Visit the Temple Mount (security permitting) and then pray at the Western Wall and go into the Western Wall Tunnels. End the day with a visit to Government Hill with a possible visit to the Knesset – the Israel Parliament and the Shrine of the Book.  
Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. 

Day  9  Tue May 12                   Judean Wildnerness / Dead Sea

This morning drive down to the Dead Sea, the lowest area in the world. Enjoy a Camel Ride andBiblical Hospitality at Abraham’s Tent at Genesis Land. Visit Massada, toascend the mountain by cable car to explore the ruins of one of Herod’s Palaces. Enjoy a float in the salt mineral waters of the Dead Sea. Continue to visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. 
Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem

Day  10  Wed May 13                Jerusalem

Drive to Mt. Of Olives for a breath taking panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem, the Eastern Gate and the beautiful Kidron Valley. Descend to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed for God's will to be done (Luke 22).  Continue to Mt. Zion to see the Room of the Last Supper (Luke 22) Walk along the Way of the Cross and old city marketsVisit the Pool of Bethesda and St. Anne’s Church. We will visit the Ecce Homo Church, which has a convent near the eastern end of the Via Dolorosa, and contains part of the Ecce Home Arch. We then end the day with quiet reflection and prayer at the Garden Tomb (I Corinthians 15, Luke 24, Mark 16). Back to the hotel for a farewell dinner and meeting room.
