Upon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport you will be met by SMILE and your local Sunworld representative. We will drive through the city of Tel Aviv and Jaffa, where Peter stayed with Simon the Tanner. We then will travel through the Sharon Valley along the ‘Way of the Sea’ to Caesarea. Visit the remains of this important Roman City where the Gentiles were first empowered with the Holy Spirit (Acts 10 & 11). Welcome dinner at hotel.

Day 3 Thu Feb 20 Coastal Plain – Galilee
We start our day making our way to Mt. Carmel to visit the Muhraqa (1 Kings 18). – commemorating where Elijah the Prophet defeated the prophets of Baal and enjoy a beautiful view of the Valley of Jezreel and Armageddon (Revelation 16). Visit Meggido, site of the final battle of Armageddon. Continue to Nazareth to visit Mary’s Well, and then visit Nazareth Village.

Day 4 Fri Feb 21 Golan Heights - Sea of Galilee
Travel up to the Golan Heights for a view of the area from Mt. Bental. Visit the site of Caesarea Phillipi and the biblical site of Tel Dan. Then enjoy a view of the Sea of Galilee from the Mt. of Beatitudes (Matthew 5–8).

Day 5 Sat Feb 22 Sea of Galilee
Start our day by enjoying a boat ride on the Sea of Galileewith worship and music. Visit the Ginosar Boat Museum. Visit the newly excavated site of Magdala, important sites associated with the ministry of Jesus. Explore Capernaum to visitthe remains of Peter’s House. Visit the Yardenit Baptism site on the Jordan River and Tamar Bakfar Spice Store.

Day 6 Sun Feb 23 Dead Sea
We thentravel south along the Jordan Valley for a short visit the excavated Roman city of Beit Shean. We then make our way south, to visit the Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and enjoy a view of the oasis of EinGedi where David Hid from King Saul. We then will take a ride on the cable car to the top of the Fortress of Massada to explore the World Heritage site. End the day at the Dead Sea, the lowest area in the World for time to float in the Dead Sea and use the Hotel spa facilities.

Day 7 Mon Feb 24 Jerusalem
This morning you will have time to use the hotel spa facilities or go for a float in the Dead Sea. Ascend up to Jerusalem as pilgrims have been doing for centuries for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Holy City. Continue to visit Genesis Land for a visit to Abraham’s Tent, a chance to ride a camel and learn how bread was made in Bible times.Then ascend up to the Mt. Of Olives. Walk down the Palm Sunday path to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed for God’s will to be done (Luke 22). Continue to Mt. Zion to see the Room of the Last Supper (Luke 22).

Day 8 Tue Feb 25 Jerusalem - Bethlehem
Start the day in Bethlehem for the morning. Have lunch in Bethlehem. In the afternoon you will visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial, visit the Israel Museum Model of Jerusalem to understand the layout of ancient Jerusalem and drive through Parliament Hill. Visit with Jewish Family for coffee and light snack. Spend time in the old city markets.

Day 9 Wed Feb 26 Jerusalem
Start the day with a visit to Temple Mount Walk along the Way of the Cross and old city markets. Visit the Pool of Bethesda (John 5) and St. Anne’s Church ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. In the afternoon visit the City of David and walk through the 3400BCE Hezekiah’s Tunnel and the Pool of Siloam (John 9) to Warren’s Shaft. Enter the Old City Walls of Jerusalem to visit Davidson Center and the original Southern Steps that led to the Temple. Pray the Western Wall. End the day with quiet reflection and prayer at the Garden Tomb (I Corinthians 15, Luke 24, Mark 16). Farewell dinner at hotel.

Transfer to the airport for your flight home or continue your journey on an optional tour to Jordan.

Day 10 Thu Feb 27 Jerusalem – Jordan – Petra
Early in the morning transfer from your hotel in Jerusalem to Allenby Bridge to cross into Jordan. Visit Bethany the Baptismal site (probably the site that John baptized Jesus). Stop by for a picture of Lot and the pillars.Continue to Petra.

Day 11 Fri Feb 28 Petra (named as one of the Seven Wonders of the World)
Breakfast, transfer to visit Petra, late afternoon transfer to your hotel in Amman for dinner. Tour the Rose Red City of Petra, the most fascinating site in the Middle East. Explore the Siq Theatre in Petra, Tombs, Temples, Court of Justice and the Palaces. See the Treasury in Petra (Petra’s most famous monument).

Day 12 Sat Feb 29 Jordan – Amman
Start the day with the Land of Moab. The Bible tells about Ruth leaving her home land and travelling with her mother-in-law Naomi to Bethlehem. Drive to Mount Nebo from where Moses viewed the Promised Land but could not go in. (Deuteronomy 34:4 Then the Lord said to him, "This is the land of which I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, 'I will give it to your descendants. (“I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there"). Continue to Madaba to see the ancient mosaic map of the Holy land and the ruins of historical sites. Travel border at Allenby Bridge to cross back to Israel.

Transfer to the airport to fly home.
