Upon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport you will be met by your local Sunworld representative and our local tour guide. We will drive through the city of Tel Aviv and to the ancient seaport of Jaffa where Peter stayed with Simon the Tanner. See the Church and visit the Artist’s quarter. Welcome dinner at hotel on Mt. Carmel.

Day 3 Thu Feb 27 Coastal Plain – Mt. Carmel - Galilee
Travel along the “Way of the Sea” to Caesarea to visit the remains of this important Roman City where the Gentiles were first empowered with the Holy Spirit. Enjoy a view of the Bahai Hanging Gardens in Haifa. Travel to the Muhraqa commemorating where Elijah the Prophet defeated the prophets of Baal and enjoy a beautiful view of the Valley of Jezreel and Armegeddo. Continue to Meggido the fortress city of King Solomon and where the final Battle of Armageddon will take place. Continue to Nazareth the boyhood home of Jesus to see the Church of Annunciation and the Synagogue Church. Visit Nazareth village to experience village life in the time of Jesus. Enjoy a view of the area from Mt. Precipice.

Day 4 Fri Feb 28 Galilee – Upper Galilee
Start our day by going to travel through the Jezreel Valley to visit Gideon’s Springs. Continue to visitthe community of Misgav Am in the Upper Galilee and meet with the soldiers posted on the border with Lebanon. Continue to visit Tel Dan – an important biblical city and Caesarea Philippi and Banias Nature Reserve, one of the sources of the Jordan River. Visit the Mt. of Beatitudes (Matthew 5–8), and travel down to the Sea of Galilee.

Day 5 Sat Feb 29 Sea of Galilee
This morning enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee with music and worship. Visit the Jesus Museum at Ginosar. Visit the important sites associated with the Ministry of Jesus including Capernaum and Magdala.

Day 6 Sun Mar 1 Jordan Valley – Dead Sea
Travel south along the Jordan Valley to visit Kaser El Yehud Baptism site, Jericho and view Mt. of Temptation on to visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Enjoy a short hike to David’s Falls at Oasis of Ein Gedi (1 Samuel 23). Enjoy a “float” in the salt mineral waters of the Dead Sea – the lowest area in the world at your Dead Sea Hotel.

Day 7 Mon Mar 2 Dead Sea - Eilat
This morning visit the famous fortress of Massada. Continue south to the Red Sea Resort of Eilat.

Day 8 Tue Mar 3 Eilat – Petra Optional
Free day to relax and enjoy the Red Sea resort or take an optional day tour to the famous, World Heritage site of Petra in Jordan.

Day 9 Wed Mar 4 Jerusalem
Make our way through the desert and enter Jerusalem as pilgrims have been doing for centuries. The rest of the day is free to explore Jerusalem.

Day 10 Thu Mar 5 Jerusalem
Visit the City of David and walk through the 3400BCE Hezekiah’s Tunnel and the Pool of Siloam (John 9). Enter the Old City Walls of Jerusalem to visit Davidson Center and the original Southern Steps that led to the Temple. Pray at the Western Wall and visit the Temple Mount. Walk through the Jewish Quarter and visit the Temple Institute to see the recreated holy vestments used in the original temple. Visit with a Jewish Orthodox family in their home.

Day 11 Fri Mar 6 Jerusalem
Start the day with a visit to Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. Continue to Mt. Zion to see the Room of the Last Supper (Luke 22) and St. Peter in Gallicantu, where Jesus was imprisoned for the night. Walk along the Way of the Cross and old city markets. Visit the Pool of Bethesda (John 5) and St. Anne’s Church ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. End the day with quiet reflection and prayer at the Garden Tomb.

Day 12 Sat Mar 7 Bethlehem - Jerusalem
Start our day traveling to Herodion and Bethlehem. Visit the Church of the Nativity, Manger Square and the Shepherd’s Field. Return to Jerusalem for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Holy City from Mt. Of Olives. Walk down the Palm Sunday path to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed for God’s will to be done. Farewell Dinner at hotel.
Later in the evening transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your flight home
