Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport you will be met by a Sunworld Tours Representative. Drive to the port city of Jaffa, where Peter stayed with Simon the Tanner. Walk around the renovated artist’s quarter and have a breathtaking view of the city of Tel Aviv. Transfer to your hotel and have a welcome dinner.

Day 3 Tue Feb 18 Tel Aviv - Galilee
Drive along the Mediterranean Coast to Caesarea the Roman Capital of Israel. Tour the Aqueduct and the restored Roman Amphitheater. Proceed through Jezreel Valley to the Muhraqa where Elijah challenged and defeated the 400 prophets of Baal. Continue to Megiddo the fortress city of King Solomon and where the final Battle of Armageddon took place. Continue on to Cana to visit the church where Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water into wine. Stop in Nazareth to visit Nazareth village, where Jesus grew up.

Day 4 Wed Feb 19 Sea of Galilee - Golan Heights
Sail across the Sea of Galilee and visit the Boat Museum, to see the 2000 year old “Jesus Boat” which was discovered in 1986. Visit Capernaum where you will see the remains of Peter’s house and where Jesus chose to center His ministry. Tour the site of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Travel up to the Golan Heights for a view from Mount Bental Bunker. Continue to the Banias, site of the Ancient Caesarea Philippi.

Day 5 Thu Feb 20 Sea of Galilee – Dead Sea
Stop at Yardenit to have a baptismal service in the Jordan River for those wishing to be baptized as Jesus was in the Jordan. Travel to Beit Shean and tour the excavations that have revealed Israel’s largest ruins of a Roman City. Drive down the Jordan Valley en route to the Dead Sea. Stop at Qumran, the site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Visit Masada, the mountain fortress built by King Herod. Take a dip in the therapeutic, salt mineral water the Dead Sea.

Day 6 Fri Feb 21 Dead Sea - Jerusalem
Travel to Kaser El Yehud where Joshua crossed over the Jordan with the children of Israel and where John the Baptist baptized people. Stop at Genesis Land for some ‘ancient biblical’ hospitality and experience a camel ride. Make the ascent up to Jerusalem through the Judean Wilderness passing Bethany on the way to Mt of Olives and enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Jerusalem. Walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed for God’s will to be done.

Day 7 Sat Feb 22 Jerusalem - Bethlehem
Drive to Government Hill to see the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament and the Menorah, which is engraved with scenes of the Jewish Nation’s history. Tour the Israel Museum to see the Shrine of the Book and the Holy land Model of Jerusalem. Tour Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds Field. Have communion at the Garden Tomb where Jesus was crucified, buried and rose again. In the evening see the Night Show at Tower of David.

Day 8 Sun Feb 23 Jerusalem
Visit Yad Lakashish. Spend some time at Yad Vashem the Holocaust Memorial visiting the memorial sites and the museum. Walk through the restored Jewish Quarter to the Western Wall. Continue to Mt. Zion to see the Upper Room. Visit Davidson Centre and see the Southern Wall Digs. Have a short visit to see the City of David. Visit the King of Kings.

If Sunworld Tours or the Group Leader cancels the tour the deposit will be refunded less $100 administration fee.
