Day 2 Mon Nov 16 Israel
Arrive at Ben Gurion airport. Your guide will meet you at the airport. Drive to visit the ancient seaport of Jaffa where Peter stayed with Simon the Tanner and the restored Artists’ Quarter. Enjoy a tour of Tel Aviv on your way to your hotel to have a welcome dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 3 Tue Nov 17 Galilee
Drive along the ancient “Way of the Sea” to explore Caesarea the major port in the era of Jesus. Here Cornelius became the first Gentile convert to Christianity and Paul was imprisoned. Travel along Mt. Carmel and the Druze Villages for a view of the Bay of Haifa and the New Hanging Gardens. Continue to Megiddo, where John envisioned the final war that would take place on the Plain of Armageddon. Drive through Galilean landscape via Nazareth, Cana to visit Gideon’s spring for a worship and pray.

Day 4 Wed Nov 18 Golan Heights - Sea of Galilee
Ascend the Golan Heights and stop at the Banias, one of the sources of the Jordan River and site of ancient Caesarea Philippi, where Peter made his confession of faith in Jesus. Travel to Nof Ginosar and see the 2000 year old boat found in the Sea of Galilee. Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit Capernaum and Mt. of the Beatitudes overlooking the Sea of Galilee and the site where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount.

Day 5 Thu Nov 19 Sea of Galilee – Dead Sea
Visit the Yardenit the baptism site on the Jordan River. Proceed to Beth Shean where excavations have found the ruins of the country's largest city in the Roman Empire. Travel down the Jordan Valley with views of Mount of Temptation, Jericho and Mt. Nebo to the Dead Sea area. Proceed to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. Stop in Qumran, center of the Essenes who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls. Take a dip in the salt mineral water.

Day 6 Fri Nov 20 Masada - Jerusalem
Visit Masada, built by King Herod. Ride the cable car to the top to explore the excavations. Hike up to Ein Gedi Falls, the desert oasis where David hid from King Saul.Travel up to Jerusalem through the Judean Wilderness to Mt of Olives to enjoy a view of the city of Jerusalem and greet the city with the traditional blessing. Walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed for God’s will to be done.

Day 7 Sat Nov 21 Bethlehem - Jerusalem
After breakfast drive to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity and the Fields of Ruth and Boaz. Drive through Government Hill to see the Menorah across from the Knesset, Israeli Parliament. Visit the Israel Museum to see the Shrine of the Book, home to the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Day 8 Sun Nov 22 Jerusalem
Drive to Mount Zion, to see the site of the Last Supper Room and King David’s Tomb. Enter the Jewish Quarter, the colorful alleys and markets. Walk along the renovated Cardo, the Roman market street to the Western Wall. Visit Davidson Center that tells the story of pilgrimage to the city at the time of Jesus. See the Southern Steps of the Temple. Explore the Rabbi’s Tunnel beneath the Wall.

Spend time at Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial
Tour with a service at the Garden Tomb. The rest of the day is free

If Sunworld Tours or the Group Leader cancels the tour the deposit will be refunded less $100 administration fee.
